The USAAE laboratories are meant for collective use by Entities for training academic activities or events.

Resources

The informatic resources available must be used within academic activities, it is strictly forbidden to use them for consultation of webpages with obscene or otherwise inappropriate content.

Available resources:

• Gualtar: 105 computers distributed through 4 rooms (30+27+24+24);
• Azurém: 30 computers in one room.

Schedule:

GUALTAR

• Monday through Friday:  9:00 – 21:00
  

AZURÉM

• Monday through Friday:  9:00 – 17:30
  

Reserving for Collective Use of Laboratories (UCL)

• The reservation for collective use of laboratories must be done at least 48h in advance;
• Requests with special preparation (software installation) require a request at least a minimum of two weeks in advance;
• A scheduling for over 4 hours (events, training, ...) cannot last more than 3 consecutive days;
• It will not be permitted, except in rare cases thoroughly explained, consecutive schedulings for the same event or pre-reservations lasting for more than 4 weeks, consecutive or not. In the case of a request of reservation renewal, this will only be analysed and validated on the last week of use.

• Situations of abusive use will be subjected to analysis and action from the Direction.
• Upon reservation you will need to indicate the following, besides the usual information:
• the name of the person responsible for the event
  
• the event type
  

Exam period

The UCL reservation of rooms for long scheduling (over 4 hours) cannot be done during the exams period;

During exam periods, the weekly occupation of UCL in each complex cannot exceed 20%.
