Due to the increased use of the service, the videoconferencing system Zoom (Colibri) has been targeted in Zoom Bombing attacks, consisting in videoconference hacking and disruption of its normal operation.


To protect yourself from these actions, we recommend you to prepare your sessions, according to the following settings:

  • Don't share the online meeting publicly
  • Set a password for the online meeting
  • Set the screen sharing only to the host
  • Deactivate "File transfer"
  • Deactivate "Join before host"
  • Deactivate "Allow removed participants to rejoin"


​COLIBRI ZOOM Tutorial


Colibri service is a webconference tool available to all RCTS (Network, Science, Technology and Society) institutions, which allows to conduct videoconference sessions with participants of other institutions. Colibri provides a safe and intuitive environment, with management, sharing and recording tools. The current licencing model is float-based, assigning Pro accounts to registered users. Pro accounts sessions last up to two hours, after the latest login.

Cloud recording is limited to 10 days. In case you need to save your meeting for further analysis, you must transfer it to Educast.
