Miguel Gonçalves

Miguel M. Gonçalves is a Professor at School of Psychology, of the University of Minho, in Portugal. He is Vice-President of the International Society of Dialogical Self (based in the Netherlands) and was Associate Editor of Psychotherapy Research (the Journal of the Society of Psychotherapy Research), between 2010 and 2015.

The curricular units he teaches are centred in the teaching, research and training of clinical psychologists and psychotherapists.

His publications focus on the process of change, in psychotherapy. He developed a research program that analyses narrative processes that lead to change in several psychotherapeutic models, with different problems.





Cátia Braga

Cátia Braga is a psychologist, psychotherapist and researcher at UMinho’s School of Psychology. Currently, she is traineeship supervisor in clinical psychology and adult psychotherapy, in UMinho’s Psychology Association.

Her publications focus on the process of change, in psychotherapy, particularly in the ambivalence and the resolution of ambivalence in several intervention models.
